Two strong Finnish companies, Opa and Muurikka, joined forces in 2007. Opa, the oldest pot and household article manufacturer with more than 90 years of experience, and Muurikka, the trailblazer of Finnish outdoor cooking, together lay down a solid foundation for developing Finnish cuisine.

The brands marketed to consumers are Opa, Muurikka and Tundra Grill. Opa’s main product areas are kitchen utensils and cooking equipment. Muurikka products are mainly cookware products intended for outdoor use, yards and terraces. Tundra Grills are outdoor campfire pits for cooking as well as providing safe warmth and atmosphere.

Opa Muurikka Oy was merged into Pisla Oy in 2020. Both companies are subsidiaries of Pisla Group. Pisla Oy is a member of the Pisla group of companies. Opa Muurikka’s office is located at the Mikkeli plant, and Pisla Oy’s head office is located in Viitasaari. Pisla Oy is a Viitasaari-based company that designs, manufactures and imports interior decoration and construction products.
