Pork sausage soup

The recipe yields the best results when cooking with the  Mari Easy Pressure Cooker .

  • 6 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1/2 leek
  • 1 beef stock cube + just over a litre of water
  • 3–5 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp of whole black peppers
  • 1 pack of uncooked pork sausages
  • salt
  • parsley or chives for decoration (optional)

Put one litre of water in the pressure cooker and add the beef stock cube. Peel carrots and potatoes, cut them into pieces about the size of a fingertip. When the water boils, add the potatoes and carrots.

Thoroughly wash and then slice the celery and leek.

Add the leek and celery into the broth, also add the bay leaves and peppers. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and simmer until cooked, for about 15–20 min. Allow to simmer on a low heat so that the vegetables don’t fall apart.

Then open the lid and squeeze in the uncooked pork sausages. One sausage is enough for about six balls, making the balls the same size as in the pictures. Let the sausages simmer under the lid for about 5 minutes. Check the flavour of the soup and serve.
