Escargot dish

2 servings: Preparation time: 30 minutes   You need: 2 snail pans

  • 1 jar canned snails
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • ½ pack blue cheese crumbled
  • 3 cloves of garlic crushed
  • ½ bunch of fresh parsley chopped

2 slices of white bread (keto or plain) for serving Open the snail jar and drain the liquid. Divide the snails into the cavities of the snail pans. Make topping: Chop the parsley tufts. Crumble the blue cheese into a small bowl and measure in the oil or butter. Stir in the chopped parsley and crush the garlic. Spoon evenly the mixture over the snails and into the cavities of the pan. Bake the snail pans in an electric smoker without smoking chips for 15-20 minutes so that the surface of the pans gets a little color. Lift the hot snail pans onto the plates.
