Description
The simmerpot has two parts: simmerpot and casserole. Food is cooked gently by simmering in the simmerpot that is placed in the casserole above boiling water. This is a carefree way of cooking milk-based porridges and sauces, for example. The food does not burn on the bottom and is cooked to perfection almost on its own. In a simmerpot, you do not need to supervise and stir the food as carefully as with a regular casserole. The steel casserole can also be used separately as a regular casserole, and the simmerpot as an oven pan, for example. The lid fits both the casserole and the simmerpot. The simmerpot has a three-ply base, and it is suitable for all hob types, including induction. NOTE! Check the manual of your induction hob for the best size of cookware for your hob. The lid is dishwasher safe.

Kevyt ja kätevä. Sisäosaan ei jää ruokaa mihinkään uraan, mikä haudekattiloissa usein ongelmana. Haudeosaa voi käyttää myös erikseen.

Ostin tämän maitopohjaisten puurojen keittoon, koska vieroksun kaikkia Teflon- ja pinnoitekattiloita. Terästä, kevyt ja kätevä.
Tähän 2,1 l sisäosaan mahtuu hyvin 1 litran maidon riisipuuro ja ehkä kenties jopa 1,5l. Mutta taas 2 litran ei kyllä mahdu, sitten pitää olla seuraava kattilakoko.
Enne ostapäätöstä on hyvä muistaa, että tämän kanssa valmistus kestää kauemmin kuin perinteisellä kattilalla. Mutta toisaalta tämä kanssa ei tarvitse olla koko ajan hämmentämässä lieden ääressä.
Jos vettä tarvitsee lisätä alaosaan kesken keitosten, niin se on hieman hankalaa ilman, että näpit palaa sisäosan reuniin tai alaosasta tuleviin höyryihin.
